The 164-room Estrella Del Mar, or Star of the Sea, is a beachfront hotel in Cabarete, renowned for its windsurfing and 40 minutes from Puerto Plata's International Airport.
The hotel is home to two restaurants and one bar. Daily activities include table games, volleyball, tennis, horseback riding and evening entertainment. Watersports range from kayaking and windsurfing to snorkeling and scuba diving clinics at the pool. There are golf courses both 35 and 55 minutes away.
Hotel services include laundry, a tour desk and currency exchange. Rooms have either a terrace or balcony and a TV.
